Strong Results at Chard CSI, Somerset

23–26 April | Chard, Somerset

Lincoln Stud enjoyed a successful and productive week at the Chard CSI show, with five horses competing across Amateur, Veteran and CSI* classes. Set against a backdrop of highly technical courses and tight time allowances, the show provided an excellent opportunity to gain experience at a competitive level.

In the CSI Amateur classes, Tropical Storm, ridden by Anne Nelson, produced consistent clear rounds and gained valuable mileage in a competitive field.

Ashmolean, also partnered with Anne Nelson in the CSI Veteran classes, delivered an outstanding performance, finishing in the placings on every day of the show.

Stepping up to a higher level, Z7 Calmini (owned by Olivia Taplin and ridden by Michaela Tomlinson) impressed with a series of confident and composed rounds in the CSI* classes, showing clear progression.

Rebel (owned by Michelle Dorion and ridden by Faye Potter) achieved strong results throughout the week, securing multiple placings including a 4th and 5th.

In the CSI Veteran Open classes, Westpoint Grandure continued a consistent run of form, finishing 2nd and 4th against competitive opposition.

Overall, the show proved both challenging and rewarding, with technical tracks testing horse and rider combinations. The team leaves Chard with valuable experience and a strong set of results to build on as the season progresses.
