Lincoln Stud is a professional showjumping and training yard with a strong focus on horsemanship, horse welfare and long-term development. We are proud to be accredited to take on apprentices and are always keen to hear from motivated, capable individuals who are looking to build a career within the equestrian industry.

Opportunities at Lincoln Stud

We are continually on the lookout for staff to support the day-to-day running of the yard. Roles may include:

  • Assisting with daily yard duties across all days of the week

  • Helping at shows, competitions and training outings

  • General horse care, grooming and stable management

  • Some riding opportunities for the right candidate, depending on experience

Whether you are at the start of your career or looking to gain further experience within a professional competition environment, Lincoln Stud offers a supportive but hard-working setting where high standards are expected and encouraged.

Apprenticeships

As an approved apprenticeship provider, Lincoln Stud welcomes applications from individuals who are keen to learn, develop practical skills and work as part of a committed team. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience in a professional yard, with exposure to competition horses, training routines and show environments.

  • A genuine interest in horses and yard work

  • Reliability, initiative and attention to detail

  • Willingness to work weekends and at shows when required

Experience is beneficial but not essential for all roles. Enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to learn are just as important.
