Competition Update: Strong Results for the Team at MET II, Oliva Nova

The team has had an excellent week at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour (MET II) in Oliva Nova, Spain, with consistent rounds, double clears, and exciting placings across the horses.

Westpoint Grandure

Westpoint Grandure continued to prove his reliability and talent, delivering three double clears throughout the week and securing two placings in the competitive 1.10m and 1.20m classes.

  • 1.20m Speed Class: A standout performance saw him finish 6th in yesterday’s 1.20m Speed — a fast, confident round that showed his growing ease at this level.

  • 1.10m Classes: Grandure also produced two additional placings and three double clears, demonstrating consistency and rhythm throughout the tour.

Rebel

Rebel built on last week’s momentum with strong form in the 1.10m classes, producing 2 placings and 3 double clears. His rideability and scope continue to develop with every start, making him an exciting horse to follow as the tour progresses.

Ashmolean

Ashmolean delivered positive, confident rounds in both the 1.10m and 1.20m classes. While not chasing the clock this week, his jumping quality shone through, setting him up perfectly for the weeks ahead.
